Your Responsibilities

• Project Management: Independent management of mechanical engineering projects.
• Team Leadership: Leadership and coordination of project teams as well as external service providers.
• Project Controlling: Project controlling and resource planning.
• Quality Management: Quality management and evaluation.
• Quotation Preparation: Preparation and calculation of quotations in close cooperation with the sales department.
• Order Fulfillment: Ensuring on-time, quality- and budget-compliant execution of orders.
• Customer Support: Supporting customers throughout all engineering phases.
• CE Coordination: Overall responsibility for CE conformity of machines and systems in accordance with EU directives.

• Planning, coordination, and monitoring of the CE conformity assessment process.
• Execution and documentation of risk assessments in accordance with EN ISO 12100.
• Selection, application, and evaluation of relevant EU directives, standards, and harmonized standards.
• Coordination of internal departments as well as external testing institutes and notified bodies.
• Preparation, review, and maintenance of technical documentation, including operating and assembly manuals.Erstellung, Prüfung und Pflege der technischen Dokumentation, inkl. Betriebs- und Montageanleitungen
• Support during internal audits as well as customer and authority inquiries related to CE marking.

Your Profile

• Qualifications: Completed degree in Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience: More than 3 years of experience in project management; experience in CE conformity assessment procedures is an advantage.
• CE Expertise: Very good knowledge of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and relevant EU directives. Experience with risk assessments, protective measures concepts, and safety functions. Understanding of functional safety (e.g. EN ISO 13849 / EN 62061) is an advantage.
• Software Skills: Very good knowledge of SolidWorks and confident use of IT tools (MS Office). Knowledge of Safexpert is an advantage.
• Working Style: Independent working style, strong communication skills, and high customer orientation.
• Leadership Skills: You lead employees in a cooperative and performance-oriented manner.
• Willingness to Travel: Willingness to travel nationally and internationally for customer visits.
• Driver’s License: Valid Class B driver’s license.
• Language Skills: Confident demeanor and very good German and English skills.
