Cut to length system
The cut to length system is positioned downstream of a saw unit and ensures the precise cutting of pipes to the desired length. To do this, the stop moves to the predefined position and automatically brings its stop arm into the conveyor system’s moving area. The pipe is conveyed up to the stop and clamped by the saw’s clamping jaws. The stop arm then retracts, allowing the cut pipe section to continue moving without obstruction.
This automated process ensures consistently high cutting quality with minimal tolerances—regardless of pipe diameter or weight.
Key Features
- Retrofit-ready: Easy integration into existing saw lines
- Manufacturer-independent: Compatible with almost all standard saw types
- Minimal installation effort: Space-saving and quick to deploy
- Maintenance-free operation thanks to robust, sensor-controlled mechanics
- Gentle positioning: Sensors stop the pipe with precision—without mechanical stress on the stop, even with heavy pipe weights
