Loading Table
The loading table enables the safe and efficient placement of pipes of varying lengths and diameters, either individually or in bundles. After loading, the operator exits the safety zone. One side of the table then lifts, allowing the pipes to roll forward in a controlled manner.
A laser sensor precisely measures the diameter of the frontmost pipe and transmits this data to the transfer station. There, the pipe’s center axis is detected, and the transfer arms are accurately positioned to securely pick up the pipe – even if it is partially covered by a significantly larger one. Pipes are always placed flush (left- or right-aligned, depending on the system configuration).
Key Features
- Efficient tilting mechanism: A central drive moves all table struts simultaneously via linkage rods
- Mechanically decoupled loading position: Prevents damage from improper placement
- Fully automatic diameter detection: Enables error-free downstream processing
- High flexibility: Available in various sizes and weight classes
